Everything You Need to Dominate

A complete suite of tools designed for competitive gamers who demand precision and control.

Windows History Engine

New

A new mouse-to-camera backend that replays the pointer path Windows itself recorded. It reads your motion after Windows applies your own pointer speed, so desktop muscle memory carries into the game — and it reconstructs every point between ticks, so fast flicks are never averaged into one jump.

ADS Precision v2

New

Two-stage radial aim shaping that only acts while you are scoped, and only ever slows you down — never amplifies. Micro gain tightens fine tracking without a deadzone, and a soft ceiling replaces hard clipping so flicks decelerate naturally. Scope-in sensitivity pop is gone.

Integrity Guard & Telemetry

New

An opt-in guard cross-checks device identity and timing to keep second-device or warp movement off your camera — and it always fails open, so it can never eat your real aim. A live HUD shows the active engine, true acquisition latency, and every guard event.

Aim Assist Suite

Polar Aim, ADS Booster, Sticky Aim, Rotational Assist, Flick Shots, and more. 15+ modes for every playstyle, now joined by the tunable Assist Enhancer oscillator and Follow Movement smoothing.

Anti-Recoil System

Per-weapon vertical and horizontal recoil compensation. Save weapon profiles and switch with hotkeys mid-game, or record a pattern in-game and let NexusPad learn it.

Warzone Movement Suite

New

Warzone-tuned response curves (Standard, Linear, Dynamic), Double Movement normalization for clean strafe tech, and MMCSS thread scheduling that keeps input timing consistent under load.

Macro System

12 built-in CoD presets — Slide Cancel v2, Dolphin Dive, Reload Cancel, Auto-Run Circle, Bunny Hop, YY Swap, Drop Shot and more. Create custom macros with precise timing.

Full Button Remapping

Map any controller button to any keyboard key. Complete freedom over your input layout with visual XAML-drawn controllers.

Profile Management

Save unlimited profiles, import/export configs, auto-switch per game. Game presets for Warzone, Fortnite, Apex, and more.

Advanced Hardware Paths

Experimental

For tinkerers: a hardened, signed-only kernel mouse-filter driver that targets a single selected mouse with multiple anti-brick fail-safes, plus a documented Arduino + USB Host Shield route that presents a genuine physical gamepad. These paths are experimental, require manual setup, and are not enabled by default. Kernel drivers and hardware mods may violate a game’s anti-cheat terms — use at your own risk.

v1.1 The History Update

What’s New

The biggest input-pipeline rework since launch: a new mouse engine, a rebuilt ADS precision model, and live telemetry so you can see exactly what your input is doing.

New 13 entries
  • Windows History input engine. A brand-new mouse-to-camera backend that replays the pointer path Windows already recorded, instead of intercepting raw hardware. Every point between controller ticks is reconstructed, so fast flicks are never averaged into a single jump.
  • Three-way input selector. The old Raw Input on/off checkbox is now an explicit picker: Windows History, Raw Input, or Classic cursor. Existing profiles keep working.
  • ADS Precision v2. A two-stage radial model that only acts while aiming and can only reduce output, never amplify it. Micro gain slows fine tracing without a deadzone; a soft ceiling replaces the old hard output cap with a smooth knee.
  • Windows History Safety Guard. An optional integrity check that uses Raw Input purely as a witness of device identity and timing — never for camera math. It fails open by design, so it can never eat your real aim.
  • Smooth ADS sensitivity transition. Scoping in and out interpolates over a 20 ms smoothstep instead of snapping, removing the camera-speed pop. It is a one-shot event, so it adds no latency during normal aiming.
  • Live telemetry & latency HUD. A real-time readout of the active read path, native-success rate, fallback counts, and true acquisition latency (last / average / peak) measured from real event timestamps.
  • Optional diagnostic logging. Low-rate JSONL logs written on a dedicated background thread, with rotation and size caps, so the input loop never stalls for logging.
  • Raw Input resampler. Raw Input mode now converts irregular packet batches into a stable, duration-weighted per-millisecond velocity, so a delayed batch after a scheduler stall no longer becomes a one-frame spike.
  • Warzone response curves. Standard, Linear and Dynamic curves. Dynamic blends linear precision on small movements with an expo ramp for fast whip turns.
  • Double Movement normalization. Simultaneous WASD-style inputs are normalized so diagonal and opposing movement produce correct, non-clipped stick output.
  • Assist Enhancer & Follow Movement. The old KeepAlive micro-circle is replaced by a sine/cosine oscillator with configurable amplitude and frequency, plus exponential smoothing on the right stick. Both live in a new Advanced Stick Processing popup.
  • Four new CoD macros. Dolphin Dive, Reload Cancel, Slide Cancel v2 and Auto-Run Circle join the preset library, bringing it to 12.
  • MMCSS scheduling & monitors. The input thread registers with the Windows Multimedia Class Scheduler for steadier priority under load, and new overlay monitors surface input latency and controller haptics.
Improved 5 entries
  • Smoothstep game-deadzone compensation. Deadzone compensation now ramps smoothly instead of stepping at the boundary.
  • Atomic controller reports. Stick and button state are submitted as one consistent snapshot, so the game never sees a half-updated frame.
  • Reworked device detection. Detection now resolves a stable PnP identity for your mouse and self-cancels after 15 seconds instead of waiting forever.
  • Controller loop crash-safety. A faulted input loop is surfaced with a clear status and a recovery path, instead of leaving a stuck virtual controller behind.
  • Overlay & Mapping tab polish. The overlay auto-shows on profile load, is fully localized and sizes to its content; the Mapping tab was compacted into popup editors.
Fixed 4 entries
  • Controller type switching hardened. Switching between Xbox and DualSense while running is now blocked with a clear prompt, instead of hot-replugging the virtual device and losing the controller index in-game.
  • Runtime protection false positives. Legitimate DLLs and generic process names no longer trip the protection module, matching is now exact rather than substring, and any real alert names what triggered it.
  • Anti-recoil state reset on disable. Turning anti-recoil off now fully clears its accumulated state.
  • Removed redundant Left Stick Curve. A duplicated setting was dropped to simplify configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

What games does NexusPad work with?

NexusPad works with any game that supports controller input. It creates a virtual controller (Xbox 360 or DualShock 4) that games recognize as a real gamepad. Includes presets for Warzone, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Valorant, and MW3.

What are the three mouse input engines?

Windows History (new default) reads the pointer path Windows already recorded, so your own pointer speed and acceleration carry into the game and every point between controller ticks is reconstructed. Raw Input reads hardware counts directly, with no Windows acceleration, and now runs through a resampler that smooths mismatched poll rates. Classic cursor is the simplest, most compatible path. You can switch at any time from the Mouse tab.

What is ADS Precision v2?

A reworked precision model that only acts while you are aiming down sights, and only ever reduces output — it never amplifies. Micro gain slows small movements for fine tracking without creating a deadzone, so tiny corrections still register, and a soft ceiling replaces the old hard cap with a smooth knee so fast flicks decelerate naturally. It is off by default, and profiles from older versions are migrated to neutral values.

Do I need a physical controller?

No. NexusPad creates a virtual controller using ViGEm. You control it entirely with your keyboard and mouse. The game thinks you're using a real gamepad.

Is it safe to use?

NexusPad operates at the driver level through ViGEm and does not inject into game processes. The new Windows History engine reads mouse motion without registering a raw-input device or installing a low-level mouse hook, and input humanization keeps stick output natural. That said, no input tool can promise it is undetectable: using a controller emulator may breach a game’s terms of service, and you use NexusPad at your own risk.

Can I switch between profiles mid-game?

Yes! You can set hotkeys for weapon profiles to switch anti-recoil settings instantly. NexusPad also supports auto-switching profiles when you change games.

What are the system requirements?

Windows 10 (2004 or newer) or Windows 11 64-bit, the .NET 10 Desktop Runtime, and the ViGEmBus driver — the ViGEmBus installer is bundled in the download. NexusPad is lightweight and uses minimal CPU/RAM.
